Nepali Momo (Dumplings) in Denver
Hand-folded Himalayan dumplings — the closest thing to Kathmandu in Cherry Creek
About this dish
Momo is to Nepal what dumplings are to China and ravioli are to Italy — a national obsession. Each one is hand-folded in our kitchen, filled with seasoned chicken or vegetables and Himalayan herbs, then steamed and served with our house-made tomato-sesame chutney. One Denver guest said our momos were the closest thing to Nepal she's had outside of actually being there.
How we make it
We mix the wrapper dough fresh daily, hand-fold each dumpling (yes, every single one), and steam them to order. The chutney — tomato, sesame, garlic, chili, soy — is what sets them apart. Don't skip it.
