Colorado Lamb Chops in Denver
Locally raised lamb, marinated in our spice blend and charred in the tandoor — Cherry Creek's signature dish
About this dish
Colorado lamb is the best in the country — sweeter, milder, and more tender than any imported lamb you'll find. We marinate locally raised rack chops in a yogurt, ginger, garlic, kashmiri chili and garam masala blend, then char them in the tandoor at 900°F until the outside crackles and the inside stays pink. This is the dish Cherry Creek regulars order for special occasions, and the one Denver food critics keep coming back to.
How we make it
Lamb chops marinate for 24 hours in our tandoor masala. We rest them at room temperature before cooking — critical for even charring. Each chop spends about 4 minutes in the tandoor, just enough to get a smoky crust without overcooking the inside. Served with mint chutney, charred onion, and lemon.

- Mint Chutney
- A bold red wine
- The Everest cocktail
